Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using RefIQ. By accessing or using the RefIQ platform at www.myrefiq.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
RefIQ is an AI-powered referee training platform operated by RefIQ LLC, a company based in Kansas City, Missouri. RefIQ provides quiz generation, scenario training, and league management tools for soccer referees and league administrators.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and purchase a subscription. By creating an account, you represent that you are 18 or older and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. RefIQ is not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized use of your account. Notify us immediately at refiqsupport@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
Referees who take quizzes via a league-issued link are not required to create an account and may be minors. In those cases, the league administrator is solely responsible for obtaining any necessary parental consents.
RefIQ offers the following paid plans, billed through Stripe:
All prices are in US dollars. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize RefIQ to charge your payment method on a recurring basis for subscription plans.
Refunds. Season and League plans are non-refundable once the subscription period begins. Monthly Referee subscriptions may be cancelled at any time; you retain access through the end of the current billing period. Refund requests for extenuating circumstances may be submitted to refiqsupport@gmail.com and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Free Trial. New accounts receive a 7-day free trial of League-tier features. No credit card is required to start a trial. At the end of the trial, access is restricted until a plan is purchased.
RefIQ uses artificial intelligence (Anthropic's Claude) to generate quiz questions. You acknowledge that:

RefIQ reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without refund.
The RefIQ name, logo, platform design, and software are owned by RefIQ LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from RefIQ's proprietary materials without written permission.
AI-generated quiz questions produced by the platform are provided to you for your personal or league use. You may not resell, republish, or distribute quiz content at scale outside the platform.
You retain ownership of any league rule documents you upload. By uploading documents, you grant RefIQ a limited license to process that content solely for the purpose of generating quiz questions for your account.
RefIQ is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate or complete. Use of the platform and reliance on its content is at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RefIQ LLC and its members, officers, and employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to lost profits, data loss, or errors in AI-generated content.
In no event shall RefIQ's total liability to you exceed the amount you paid to RefIQ in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You may cancel your account at any time by contacting refiqsupport@gmail.com. RefIQ may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or at our discretion with reasonable notice.
Upon termination, your right to use the platform ends. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of RefIQ shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Jackson County, Missouri, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
Before initiating any legal action, you agree to first contact RefIQ at refiqsupport@gmail.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of RefIQ after updated Terms take effect constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
